A road will be closed whilst a bridge that was damaged in a crash is repaired.
Herrison Road at Buddens Bridge will be closed for 11 days whilst the bridge's parapet is repaired.
Bridge parapets are the walls which run along either side of the bridge.
This bridge is on the turn-off from the A352 for Charlton Down between Charminster and Godmanstone.
It will be closed from Monday, January 29 and the work is expected to be completed by Friday, February 9.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
For further information about the work being undertaken and access arrangements, call Dorset Highways Operations on 01305 228100.
