A group of unique music-makers is returning to Dorchester in February.
Dorchester Arts is welcoming Mad Dog Mcrea to the Corn Exchange on Friday, January 9, who will be supported by Cornish punk band JollyRoger.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Arts said: "Popular, unique, and defying all pigeon-holing, Mad Dog Mcrea blend a unique mixture of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, bluegrass and ‘shake your ass’ music.
"From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies.
"Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs and enjoy the unshakable dedication of their massive and 'loyal-to-the-hilt' fan base.
"Not just a very popular live band, with five albums under their belts, they are serious and acclaimed recording artists too.
"Supported by defining Cornish punk band JollyRoger, this will be a musical evening like no other.
"So whether you are die-hard fans or want a totally new and amazing musical experience, the famous purple happy bus is fired up and ready for action, and there’s room for you – jump aboard."
Tickets are priced at £20 with the band set to take to the stage at 7.30pm.
