A road just north of Lulworth Cove remains closed due to a landslip.
The B3070 is closed in both directions due to a landslip between the East Lulworth turn off and Farm Lane at West Lulworth
The incident was first reported on Friday, January 5 and remains closed today, Monday, January 8, according to Dorset Council's travel updates map.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: "There has been a small landslip at Lulworth Cove. We remind visitors to the coastline to take notice of warning signs and not to climb over fresh falls because they can still be unstable.
"The Jurassic Coast is a wonderful place to visit, but by it's nature it is constantly eroding.
"When visiting it is important to use common sense and caution – stay away from the edge and base of cliffs and always pay attention to warning signs, safety messages and the tides."
The council has also issued some advice to staf safe from landslips:
- Stay away from the edge of the cliff top - admire the view from a safe distance
- Stay away from the base of cliffs: rock falls and landslides can happen at any time. If you are under a rock fall, the likelihood is you will die
- Pay attention to warning signs – they are there for your safety
- Check tide times before you set off to avoid being cut off by incoming tides
- Keep dogs on leads near the cliff edge
