LEARN how to make traditional Dorset buttons.
A workshop is being held at the Tolpuddle Old Chapel on Saturday, January 20, which will teach people how to make Dorset Singleton buttons using Liberty fabric.
At this workshop you will be shown how to make a traditional Dorset button known as a singleton.
Pieces of Liberty lawn material will be used and buttons will be finished off with coloured stitches around the edge to complement the print.
The 32mm button can be finished off and used as a button or converted into a pretty brooch.
No previous experience is required and the workshop is suitable for all ages.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, January 20 from 10.30am to 12pm at The Old Chapel, 59 Main Road, Tolpuddle, Dorchester DT2 7ET
It costs £25. All materials and refreshments are included in the cost.
