Book manufacturers from Dorchester have once again donated to our Christmas Toy Appeal.
The Toy Appeal is now in its 24th year and aims to provide children who are not so fortunate with a present to unwrap on Christmas Day morning.
Henry Ling Ltd is based in Dorchester and manufactures books and journals for scientific and medical publishers distributing them worldwide, as well as some local magazines.
They have been printing in the town for more than 150 years and have been donating to our toy appeal for many years.
So once again, their kind-hearted donation of £100 will go a long way to help making a child’s Christmas this year.
A spokesperson for Henry Ling said: “Henry Ling Ltd are delighted to join in the Echo appeal again to help local children at Christmas time.”
We asked readers to give a thought to children in need this Christmas and buy one extra present to go in a Dorset Echo Toy Appeal bin which were located at various local businesses.
All the toys collected will be distributed before Christmas to children who really appreciate them.
Businesses were also invited to make a £100 donation, and donations were also welcomed from readers for any amount.
The Toy Appeal bins have now been collected and we are no longer accepting donations.
