A mobility equipment firm has donated to our Christmas Toy Appeal for another year.
Rapid Mobility - based on Abbotsbury Road in Weymouth - has once again given its support to the Dorset Echo Toy Appeal with a donation of £100.
The donation will go towards making sure less fortunate children have a present to look forward to this December 25.
The family run business aim to provide top-tier mobility solutions to enhance the quality of life for individuals with varying mobility needs.
Executive company director Warren Hicks said: “‘ Every year, we look forward to hearing from the toy appeal, it is a time of year that people are buying toys in the droves.
"However, not every child or person is lucky enough to live among privilege and in an environment where they can be bought everything they ask for from Santa Claus.
"The toy appeal delivers every year to those that are in need, it is a time of year to share, give and be thinking of others.
"So, in the spirit of that, we like to be part of this donation, and are proud to say that we have been part of it every year since the business started.
"Thank you to the toy appeal and Merry Christmas to everyone: our customers, our friends, and anyone else that gets this message."
We asked readers to give a thought to children in need this Christmas and buy one extra present to go in a Dorset Echo Toy Appeal bin which were located at various local businesses.
All the toys collected will be distributed before Christmas to children who really appreciate them.
Businesses were also invited to make a £100 donation, and donations were also welcomed from readers for any amount.
The Toy Appeal bins have now been collected and we are no longer accepting donations.
