DORCHESTER Town star Corby Moore expects a “tasty game” when his former club Poole Town visit the Avenue Stadium this afternoon.
Moore, 30, left the Dolphins in September after ending a 260-game spell in the aftermath of Tom Killick’s sacking.
Killick has since been reunited with Moore at the Avenue Stadium but the midfielder is abundantly clear of the impending derby with the duo’s former side.
Speaking to Echosport, Moore said: “I knew that was going to come up!
“I still speak to some of the lads and I see it all over social media. It will be a good game, a tasty game, I’m looking forward to it.

“I’m obviously expecting some abuse and I think the fans will enjoy it a lot more than what we will. It’s a very good game to be a part of, definitely.”
The Poole clash will be Dorchester's final fixture of 2023 but Moore is confident of improvements for the Magpies in 2024.
He added: “To be honest, if you look at the table, three or four wins in a row we’d get up in the top half and we’re not far away from it.
“If you just get a few more results, a little string of games together, the play-offs would be great but even just getting in the top half and being consistent is the main aim for us.”
