A Dorchester firm feel ‘blessed’ to be able to donate to our Christmas Toy Appeal.
So far, we have raised nearly £5,000 for our 24th Toy Appeal with the donation from Dorchester Timber another welcome addition to this year’s haul.
Created back in 1987, Dorchester Timber supply both trade and DIY enthusiasts with quality timber and sheet materials and associated products.
Jed from Dorchester Timber said: “Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year from all of us here at Dorchester Timber Ltd.
“The Toy Appeal has always been in our calendar and have been excited to be able to support the cause again this year.
“To be able to help bring smiles to children at Christmas time specially in these challenging times is always a pleasure.
“We’ve worked alongside local clubs and groups all around Dorset in all age groups throughout the year, and we feel blessed to be able to give back and help to spread awareness and joy all round.”
We asked readers to give a thought to children in need this Christmas and buy one extra present to go in a Dorset Echo Toy Appeal bin which were located at various local businesses.
All the toys collected will be distributed before Christmas to children who really appreciate them.
Businesses were also invited to make a £100 donation, and donations were also welcomed from readers for any amount.
The Toy Appeal bins have now been collected and we are no longer accepting donations.
