Santa’s little helpers will be pleased as another donation has come through the doors for the Dorset Echo Christmas Toy Appeal.

This time Park House Pets has kindly donated £100 to the Toy Appeal which will enable us to give more presents to Children in need this Christmas.

The Toy Appeal run by the Dorset Echo is in its 24th year and every donation is greatly received as it helps to put a smile on child’s face when otherwise they may not receive a gift.

Park House Pets is a family run business that has been trading for 34 years, 30 of them at the Marabout Industrial Estate Dorchester.

Its team consists of Jane Wakefield and her son Nick, along with Rory and Laurence who work with them.

They sell pet food, animal feeds, horse feed and bedding as well as small animal feed and bedding whilst also providing expert advice on how to feed pets.

Owner of Park House Pets, Jane Wakefield, said: “I have two grandchildren and to see the pleasure when they open their presents, we would like to help other children enjoy Christmas.”
