A CCTV appeal has been made after an assault in Weymouth town centre left a man with a broken jaw.
It happened nearly two months ago - but Dorset Police only issued the appeal today.
CCTV images of a man police would like to identify have been issued.
Officers said sometime between 2.15am and 2.30am on Sunday, October 15, a man aged in his 40s was assaulted on New Street.
He was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a fracture to his jaw.
Detective Constable Rob Hoskins, of Dorset County CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this assault and we have now obtained CCTV images of a man who we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.
“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
