Two people were injured after two vehicles collided on a road in north Dorset.
The crash took place along the A3030 between Sherborne and Sturminster Newton which saw both police and ambulance crews called to the scene.
Minor injuries were sustained according to the police as the vehicles hit each other at the junction of Blackrow Lane near King's Stag.
It took several hours for the road to be cleared as the vehicles were removed from the site which had partially blocked the road causing some delays.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: We were called at 8.20am to report of two vehicle collision on the A3030 at the junction with Kings Stag.
"Officers attended along with the ambulance service. Minor injuries were reported after two people sustained injuries.
"The vehicles were recovered and the road was cleared at around 10am."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: “We were called at 08:37am on Friday, December 8 to a road traffic incident on the A3030 in Dorset.
"We sent one double-crewed land ambulance.”
