A CARE home is holding a Christmas Fayre Fundraiser this weekend in aid of a good cause.

Selwood House Care Home in Charlton Down is hosting the fayre on Saturday, December 9 from 2pm to 4pm.

This special event is dedicated to raising funds for the Dorset County Hospital charity.

The highlight of the event will be a heart-warming choir performance by St Mary's Charminster, which is set to fill the air with festive cheer.

A fun-filled tombola will offer more chances to win exciting prizes.

Entry to the Christmas Fayre is free and thanks is extended to the local stallholders and businesses whose generous donations and support have made this event possible.

Selwood House is a brand-new luxury care home specialising in residential care, dementia care and respite care.
