A major Portland route will face disruption as temporary traffic lights will be implemented for works.
The A354 Chiswell - which is the route for drivers coming off the island - will see temporary two-way traffic lights from Monday, December 11. They will be placed at the junction with Brandy Row.
The work is being undertaken by Wessex Water. It is for the replacement of a sewer chamber cover
It is expected to be completed by Friday, December 15.
A Wessex Water spokesperson said: “We’re replacing a sewer inspection chamber cover on the A354, with two-way traffic lights at the Brandy Row junction from Monday, December 11 so we can work quickly and safely.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by this essential work, which will take a maximum of five days.”
