Several schools across Dorset have closed today after flood and weather warnings are put in place.
Flood warnings are in place for the River Frome where flooding is to be expected from Maiden Newton down to Wareham.
There are also possibilities of flooding along the River Brit, although this is just an alert rather than the more serious warnings that are put in place when flooding is expected to happen.
A yellow weather warning was also issued for large parts of Dorset for Thursday, December 7.
