A major road in Weymouth has been reopened after a man required medical attention in his car.
Weymouth Way, part of the A354 between Chafey's Roundabout and Manor Roundabout was closed by police, causing delays and queues.
Emergency Services were on the scene including an air ambulance.
An eyewitness said that they saw Police putting up signs around 12.10pm, with traffic being diverted through Radipole.
Another witness said that traffic had caused Radipole Lane to be blocked up as a result of the diversions.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "At 11.46am on Tuesday 5 December 2023, Dorset Police received a report of a man requiring medical attention in his car on the A354 Weymouth Way. Road closures have been put in place as emergency services attend the scene.
The road was reopened around 1.20pm, with traffic now returning to normal.
A spokesperson from South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11.40hrs on Tuesday 05 December to an incident on Weymouth Way. We sent three double-crewed land ambulances, an operations officer, and an air ambulance.”
