Traffic is queuing and long delays are expected due to flooding along a major road near Dorchester.
A stretch of the A37 between Charminster and Dorchester is causing the delays as traffic makes its way through flood water.
The flooding is affecting traffic in both directions at Weirs Roundabout and temporary traffic lights have been put in place for safety reasons.

This comes after heavy rainfall saw flood warnings issued for the River Frome from Tollerford to Wareham.
Flood warnings have also been issued for the River Wey where properties can expect to be flooded.

On Monday, December 4, Bridport was one of the worst hit areas across the county as several roads were forced to shut.

The A35 was closed between Bridport and Dorchester due to the flooding at the Esso petrol station near the East Road roundabout.
Whilst the Groves Nursery and Garden Centre along West Bay Road and Bridport Football Club, which sits next to the River Brit were submerged in water after the river burst its banks.
