A major route through Dorchester will be closed overnight to repair a noisy manhole cover.
A section of The Grove will be closed northbound on Friday December 8 from 7pm until 7am Saturday December 9.
The road will be closed between its junction with the Top o' Town roundabout for about 70 metres.
The closure is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
The work is being carried out by Dorset Council.
