Poppies have been adorned on the outside of a Weymouth church ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
The St. Ann’s Stitchers, a community craft group, have made been making poppies which can now be seen at St Ann's Church in Radipole Lane.
Liz Bartlett, who is the church warden, and part of the group said: “The ladies in our new group have worked hard to produce a mountain of poppies, which have been used to decorate our lamp, porch and Tommy the soldier outside.”
The group which meets on the first Thursday afternoon of the month, have been working over several months to make the poppies.
The church flower arrangers have also adorned the inside of the church with poppy displays.
She added: “Inside, they can be seen on the communion rail and the gallery to echo the beautiful floral arrangements. We hope these will bring an extra element to our Remembrance Day worship on Sunday.
St Ann's is on the oldest church site in Weymouth, originating from the 12th Century. Sundays are both common worship services and Book of Common Prayer, depending which Sunday of the month.
It will be remembering the fallen and those still suffering from the effects of wars, in a service at 10.30am on Sunday, November 12.
This will include the two minutes silence and Holy Communion.
