Heavy rain or showers are expected with a weather warning issued across Dorset for this weekend.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain on Saturday across the south west of England.
Tomorrow, heavy downpours are expected between 5am and 11.59pm.
The wet weather could bring spray and flooding on roads, potentially making journey times longer
Bus and train services may be affected with journey times taking longer.
Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible and large waves may lead to dangerous conditions along some English Channel coastlines.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “A spell of heavy rain early in the day clears northwards but is followed by fairly frequent heavy and blustery showers.
“These are likely to be focused in some southern and southeastern coastal counties by afternoon, with thunderstorms catching a few locations.
“Around 15-25 mm of rain will fall in some places but with perhaps 30 - 40 mm by the end of the day in coastal southeast England.
“Additional hazards could include large waves and spray along some southern coasts.”
Flood warnings also remain in place in Upper Frome from Maiden Newton to Dorchester.
There are also flood alerts for the west coast of Dorset.
