Guests at a Dorchester retirement living complex were treated to a night of west Dorset wine tasting.
Retirees were invited to Casterbridge Court to enjoy an array of wines from the Furleigh Estate in Salwayash.
The estate is renowned for its high-quality locally produced wines which are made just five miles from the Jurassic Coast
Homeowners at the McCarthy Stone retirement living development opened their homes to guests for the evening to experience what the complex has to offer.
Nicki Beswarick, divisional marketing manager at McCarthy Stone Southern, says: "The exclusive tasting event went down as smooth as the wine did with our homeowners.
“We hope our guests enjoyed visiting the development and getting to experience first-hand the vibrant lifestyle on offer at Casterbridge Court.”
The evening allowed guests and homeowners to enjoy a selection of wines from Furleigh Estate, which took them on a sensory adventure and allowed them to gain an insight into the ingredients and intricate processes of the wines’ production.
Lisa Ellingham, manager at Furleigh Estate Vineyard, said: "We had such a fun time bringing our award-winning wines to the homeowners at Casterbridge Court.
"It was great to see everyone getting involved, discovering new flavours and expanding their wine knowledge."
