It is the time of year when towns and villages around Dorset are gearing up for fireworks displays and bonfire nights.
There will be a series of fireworks and bonfires across the county, and we have compiled a helpful list so you can find the one nearest to you.
Weymouth Community Guy Fawkes Bonfire And Fireworks:
Fireworks will light up the night sky above Weymouth.
The free event, which is being hosted by the town council, will include a beach bonfire and a fireworks display on Sunday, November 5.
The celebrations will kick off at 6pm with refreshment stalls including food and drink from stalls including The Saddle Stop, The Tasty Burger Co, The Duck & Chicken, Proper Pork Crackling, Grilled n Chilled, Coffee Guys, Crazy Cow, The Sunflower Cafe and Bennetts Fish & Chips.
The beach bonfire will be lit at 7.40pm, followed by a breath-taking fireworks display in Weymouth Bay at 8pm.
Dorchester Rugby Club Fireworks:
There will be an annual fireworks display at Dorchester Rugby Club with attractions for all the family on Sunday, November 5.
There will be a wide choice of food concessions and fully stocked bars.
Doors open at 5pm, fireworks at 7pm.
Upwey Fireworks:
Upwey's annual fireworks display has a new location for 2023.
Previously behind Westbrook Barn on Church St, this year on November 4 they will be hosted at West Farm DT3 5PS on Bincombe Road.
Organised by the Upwey Society for the community, the fun family evening includes professional fireworks, a bonfire, hot dogs and toffee apples.
The fire will be lit at about 6pm, with fireworks around 6.45pm.
The organisers say that although there is some parking available, it would help if people could walk to the site if they can.
Entry is £5 adults, £1 for children.
Minterne Gardens Fireworks:
There will be a fireworks display at Minterne Gardens, which is just off the A352 north of Dorchester, on Friday, November 3.
Gates open from 5pm with the bonfire lit at 7pm and the fireworks display at 7.30pm.
There will be food stalls with burgers, tea, a bar and free car parking.
Tickets at the gate are £15 per adult or £36 per family.
Dewlish Bonfire and Fireworks Night:
The annual bonfire night and fireworks display is back in Dewlish on Saturday, November 4.
Before the fireworks begin, you can tap your feet whilst enjoying BBQ classics and a drink from our licensed bar. There'll also be soup, hot drinks and cakes. For the little ones, there will be free activities out of the cold in the marquee.
The gates will be open at 5.30pm, bonfire lighting around 6.15pm, before the main fireworks display at 7.15pm.
Tickets at the gate for two adults and up to three children will be £20, adults £7 and children £4. It's free for under 4s.
Wareham Wednesdays Monster Bonfire and Fireworks:
Wareham Wednesdays and Swanage and Wareham Rugby Football Club present Monster Bonfire and Fireworks.
It is taking place on Friday, November 3, with gates open from 6pm.
It is £5 on the gate. Under 10s go free.
Sherborne Castle Fireworks:
The popular firework display is back at Sherborne Castle and Garden this November.
It will take place on Saturday, November 4 from 5.30pm to 10pm.
This evening of entertainment includes hot food and drink concessions, a bar and children's funfair rides and side stalls to keep the family entertained.
Adult-advance tickets are £9, and senior citizen or disabled adult advance tickets are £6. A child advance ticket (5-16yrs) is £6 and under 5s are free.
Bonfire by the Beach in West Bay:
Bonfire by the Beach is a free annual event held on East Beach organised by West Bay Days.
It had been scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 28, but was delayed due to a poor weather forecast.
It has been re-arranged for Saturday, November 11. There will be live Music from 4pm until 9.30pm, and the fireworks begin at 8pm.
The event will see live entertainment from musicians including Nina Garcia, Mustang Sally, and What the Phunk.
Pymore Inn Bonfire Night in Bridport:
The Pymore Inn will hold a bonfire night celebration. With face painting, mulled cider and burgers.
It will be family friendly with no scary fireworks.
It will be held on Sunday, November 5 from 5.00pm to 7.30pm.
Bridport Rugby Club Grand Firework Display:
This fireworks display will be held at the Bridport Rugby Club. It will have food and drink available.
Gates will open at 6pm, and the display will be at 8pm. Adults are £5 and children 15 and under are £15.
Lyme Regis Fireworks and Bonfire Night:
Lyme Regis's bonfire night will be on Saturday, November 4.
The Cobb will provide a spectacular backdrop to this popular annual display. Join the crowds of people who come to watch the fireworks over Lyme Bay.
Fireworks will take place from the Cobb at 6.30pm, and this is a free event.
