More than 300 homes across Dorset have been left without power.
Postcodes in the DT2 area were left without power just before 5pm yesterday (Saturday, October 28) with more outages reported at around 11pm.
It is estimated that the power cuts are affecting around 311 people, and it is hoped that power will be restored by 12pm in some areas and 1pm in the remaining areas.
Electricity supplier for the area, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) said: “We are sorry for the loss of supply. We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed.
“Our engineers are onsite working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can.”
