Two men were detained by police for "suspicious behaviour" after a van and suspected stolen tools were seized by police.
Officers from Dorset Police Rural Crime team stopped a vehicle and detained two men for alleged suspicious behaviour on Friday, October 13.
Upon inspecting the vehicle, officers seized a number of Stihl power tools that are suspected as being stolen. Officers recovered two chainsaws, two pole cutter motors, a blower, a pole saw, and a pole hedge trimmer.
Police are now looking to identify the owners of the suspected stolen power tools found in Cranborne.
Police Constable Sebastian Haggett, of Dorset Police’s Rural Crime Team, said: “We are looking to reunite these items with their owners.
“We would welcome any assistance from members of the public to help us with our enquiries.”
