A darkly comic evening of macabre mini-plays, all with a festive flavour is coming to Dorset.
Dorset’s rural arts charity Artsreach is welcoming Cornish touring company ‘Owdyado Theatre back to the county this December with yet more dark and twisted drama in Twisted Christmas.
Featuring writers from Cornwall and across the UK, this selection of eight original micro-plays includes tales of how to buy the perfect gift for your unloved ones, the dark side of Christmas cracker jokes, and why you should never turn your back on a panto dame.
Influenced by cult classics such as Inside No.9, The Twilight Zone and Roald Dahl’s Tales of the Unexpected.
‘Twisted Christmas’ will be shown at Wimborne Allendale Centre (01202 887247) on Friday, December 1, Halstock Village Hall (01935 891744) on Saturday, December 2, and Stalbridge Hall (01963 362978) on Sunday, December 3.
Further information and tickets are also available online at artsreach.co.uk.
