Three youths have been quizzed by police in connection with criminal damage in the Poundbury area, officers said.

It follows a spate of graffiti discovered around the estate.

This comes as police investigate reports of anti-social behaviour generally around the area.

This week, we reported how videos have been circulating on social media showing youths damaging properties, leaving some residents frightened.

Police said they were progressing with that investigation following reports of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.

Any further information can be submitted to Dorset Police with crime reference 55230161612.

Regarding the graffiti inquiry, a spokesperson for Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "We have been investigating reports of criminal damage, after graffiti was discovered in a number of locations in the Poundbury area during the summer.

"As a result of enquires, three young males have recently been interviewed by the team. They have since been released under investigation and enquires continue."
