A DAY of fun, free community-led activities celebrating learning, arts, hobbies, and special skills is in store this weekend.

Weymouth Library and Learning Centre is hosting a Fun Palace on Saturday, October 7 from 10am to 3pm. 

There will be fun for all ages and refreshments will be served in a pop-up café provided by the Friends of Weymouth Library.

There will also be live animal and insect displays, Roman re-enactment, arts and crafts, magnet build challenges, interactive science experiments, nature stalls a book raffle and more. 

People will be able to win prizes with their library card with a raffle giving people a chance to win a brand-new book.

Those who aren't members are invited to bring ID and proof of address and they can join the library for free.
