PAY what you can for a one-off pilot of a new show at a Portland theatre.
Caught in the Net will be performed at the Royal Manor Theatre in Fortuneswell on Saturday, October 14 from 2.30pm to 3.45pm.
Suitable for those aged eight-years-old or above, this show celebrates mackerel, seine fishing communities, lerret boats, sustainable local food sources and coastal ecology.
It's inspired by seine fishing stories, memories and communities and is reimagining old and new fishing traditions.
There will be storytelling, singing, music and dance with Grace and Growl community dancers.
Promoters say: "Pay what you can means exactly this, thanks for your support and please come and share the stories and make new ones together. No one will be turned away for lack of funds."
Doors open at 2pm and the show starts at 2.30pm. There will be a Q&A session after the show with the cast and team.
Tickets must be booked in advance on a pay what you can basis. Go to: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/caughtinthenet
