A Canadian-Irish musician is returning to Dorset to perform at one of his favourite venues.
Stephen Fearing, who is back in the UK, will perform at the Mission Hall in Sutton Poyntz, near Weymouth, on Saturday, October 21.
He is described by the BBC as 'without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best songsmiths on the planet.'
A beguiling teller of tales and a master guitarist, Fearing is the co-founder of Canadian rock-roots supergroup, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings and has worked with artists such as; Bruce Cockburn, Roseanne Cash, Richard Thompson and Nick Lowe.
Local musician Ken Watkins said: "We have been booking Stephen for many years and we are just so lucky to have such an incredible musician playing on our doorstep.
"His song-writing and guitar playing are second to none. He is - absolutely - a world-class talent and also - a lovely human being."
Stephen will be performing songs from his brand new album, Vejpoesi which is a collaboration with Danish band, The Sentimentals.
He's at the Mission Hall, Sutton Poyntz, DT3 6LY on Saturday October 21 at 8pm.
