A dog that was reported stolen in Dorset has been reunited with her owners.
Jessie the German Shepherd was reported stolen from her home in rural Gillingham on Sunday, September 10.
Following police enquiries, she has been found safe and well.
Police Constable Sebastian Haggett, of the Dorset Rural Crime Team, said: “I would like to thank the members of the public that stepped forward to assist in this investigation.
“Whilst the full facts are still being ascertained, we are happy that Jessie has been found safe and reunited with her owner.”
An appeal was launched last week to track down the five-year-old dog.
