A grain dryer fire was tackled by firecrews.
The equipment at a farm in north Dorset caught fire during the drying process, Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
Two crews from Blandford and a crew from Shaftesbury were alerted after getting a call at 6.40pm on Friday.
Firefighters wearing breathing kits used hoses to extinguish it.
A spokesperson for Blandford Fire Station said: "On arrival, crews were met with a grain dryer containing 20 tonnes of barley alight."
The spokesperson added: "Crews remained in attendance dampening down the barley that had been removed from the dryer."
