A GARDEN centre in Dorset is offering spooky treats with its holiday club.
Dobbies’ Galton store near Owermoigne is running the club for its Little Seedlings Club members aged between 4 to 10 over the October half term holiday.
The workshop will be on Thursday, October 26 at 10.30am.
The garden centre will embrace the spirit of Halloween, looking at mystical plants and their extraordinary powers.
Children will explore the world of medicinal plants, such as the evening primrose and dandelions, uncovering the secrets of their potent healing qualities, before venturing into the realm of poisonous plants, like the deadly nightshade and white snakeroot.
The club will also uncover the histories behind ancient cultures and how they used plants for their mystical properties.
Games and activities will also be available as they will get a chance to brew a magical potion, cast a spell of their own and craft magical plant charms to proudly take home as cherished mementos.
Dobbies’ community and CSR communications executive, Chloë Bell, said: “We are very excited to welcome children to this workshop in our Galton store during the October break.
"Our Little Seedlings Holiday Club gives attendees a chance to make friends and learn something new, and we hope to nurture the next generation of gardening enthusiasts in a playful and informative setting."
