AN INJURED woman was rescued from a Dorset beauty spot on the Jurassic Coast.
On Friday evening, coastguards from Lulworth received a call from a woman with a suspected torn Achilles on St Oswald's beach near Durdle Door.
Lulworth Coastguard Rescue Team worked alongside the RNLI to evacuate the woman back to Lulworth Cove.
A spokesperson for Lulworth Rangers said: "Late Friday we had a call from a lady with a suspected torn achilles on St Oswald's Beach.
"The group were in good spirits when we arrived. With Lulworth Coastguard Rescue Team and the RNLI lifeboat, an easy evacuation was made back to Lulworth Cove.
"Wishing the patient a speedy recovery."
