Sewage has been discharged into the sea in several locations across the Dorset coast.
The Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) charity has reported on its interactive map that storm sewage has been discharged from sewer overflows in the past 48 hours.
Storm overflows operate automatically, usually releasing stormwater during or after intense rainfall.
Sewage discharges have been reported in Castle Cove and Sandsfoot Castle in Weymouth and Chesil Cove on Portland.
A Pollution Alert has been issued in these areas, which says: "Pollution Alert: Storm sewage has been discharged from a sewer overflow in this location within the past 48 hours."
Bowleaze Cove in Weymouth has a different alert in place which warns that pollution is forecasted.
"There are no sewer overflows here but water quality may be affected by discharges into the River Jordan from the urban catchment," SAS said.
Pollution warnings have also been issued for Lulworth Cove in West Lulworth, Lyme Regis Front Beach and Charmouth Beach.
SAS said: "There are sewer overflows to the west of Lulworth Cove from West Lulworth Beach and West Lulworth Hambury Farm pumping stations."
Sewage overflows have also been reported in Swanage, Poole, Sandbanks, Bournemouth and Boscombe over the past 48 hours.
