A group of campers have been moved on from a Dorset beach.
Weymouth Community Safety Patrol Officers had received reports from residents lthat people were camping illegally on the beach at West Bexington.
A spokesman said that officers patrolled the beach in order to educate and enforce the Public Space Protection Order on camping.
They spoke to a few individuals about camping and within an hour they had packed away their gear and collected their rubbish.
Officers also managed to inspect an abandoned campsite at Lodmoor Country Park in Weymouth which was then cleared by staff at Dorset Waste Partnership.
