A quirky Weymouth festival will make a paw-some return next week.
The much-loved Dog Sausage and Cider Festival is set to return to The Springhead pub at Sutton Poyntz on Sunday, August 27 from 11am.
There will be a whole line-up of entertainment on offer for families and their four-legged friends.
The day will be full of entertainment including live music from acts like Sunstroke, All Funked Up and We Afro Tallawah as well as kids fun and more than 50 craft stalls.
The Ranch will also be there on the day with a variety of animals and reptiles including Shetland ponies, goats and snakes.
The event wouldn’t be complete without ‘the mighty sausage throwing competition,’ which is once again returning.
Refreshments will also be available which will include a line-up of local artisan ciders.
Entry is £2 for adults and kids go free; parking is available for £1.
