An annual book sale is set to begin today to raise money for Weymouth Library.
On Thursday, August 10 to Saturday, August 12, plenty of quality fiction books and biographies will be on sale at the library on Great George Street from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
Books are 50p each and organisers of the sale advise that they are ‘ideal for the beach.’
Money raised will go towards the purchasing of items for the library which are not met by their usual budget, ‘with children’s activities especially benefiting.’
The event has been organised by the Friends of Weymouth Library (FOWL).
Other upcoming events taking place at Weymouth Library include an Afternoon of Adventure and Fantasy Games for children of all ages, an author talk and a Pokémon party, some of which require booking.
