A man banned from lying down in the road will be sentenced next month after he was refused entry to the court at his last hearing.
Alan Lee Bowditch, aged 23, of Barclay Road, Weymouth, previously admitted wilfully obstructing a highway.
He also pleaded guilty to assaulting a paramedic having previously denied this charge.
Bowditch was also alleged to have purposely fallen into the road causing an ambulance responding to an emergency to stop, but this was dismissed due to a lack of evidence.
A charge of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour was also thrown out for the same reason.
The offences Bowditch was convicted of happened on June 20, 2022 in High East Street, Dorchester.
As reported, Bowditch appeared at Weymouth Magistrates' Court earlier this year where he was banned from lying down in roads 'unless in a genuine emergency' to 'prevent offending'.
He was due to be sentenced last week but the hearing was adjourned at the request of Bowditch's solicitor after the defendant was refused entry to the court building.
He will now be sentenced at Weymouth Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, September 20.
