FORMER AFC Bournemouth winger Junior Stanislas has pleaded not guilty to speeding in a Dorset village.
The 33-year-old, who lives in Poole, has also pleaded not guilty to failing to give information to the police relating to the identity of a driver.
It was revealed last month that the footballer had been charged with the driving offences.
Stanislas, whose first name is Felix, is accused of driving five miles an hour over the speed limit in a Land Rover on the A35 in Winterbourne Abbas on December 4, 2022.
The village has a speed limit of 30mph.
The former England Under-21 international is also accused of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle when required on January 12, 2023 at Dorset Police's headquarters in Winfrith Newburgh.
Stanislas' case has been listed for a full court hearing on Tuesday, September 12 at Weymouth Magistrates' Court.
It will take place as a trial after Stanislas pleaded not guilty to both charges.
The 33-year-old was at the Cherries for a total of nine years before departing the Dorset side on July 1 and is now a free agent without a club after being released by Bournemouth last month.
He played 179 games for the club, scoring 38 goals.
