THE county we call home will once again be in the spotlight on national television tonight.
Channel 5 will screen the second episode of Dorset Coast & Country tonight at 8pm.
The series is narrated by national treasure Alan Titchmarsh.
Tonight the cameras will be focusing on the awe-inspiring Chesil Beach, the 18 mile long shingle barrier beach stretching from West Bay to Portland.
The programme will also be stopping on the Isle of Purbeck and visting Sherborne's oldest working bakery.
The first episode featured locations including Lyme Regis, Mapperton House near Beaminster and Wimborne.
Dorset Echo readers gave the show largely positive reviews, with many saying it was 'about time' the focus shifted from counties like Devon, Cornwall and Yorkshire to 'forgotten' Dorset.
Some viewers noted that the show was 'a bit disjointed', 'predictable', 'repetitive' and 'jumped about too much' between locations.
If you miss the episode tonight, it will be repeated on Channel 5 on Sunday, August 6 at 8pm or catch it on Channel 5's catch-up service My5.
