A DORSET attraction is offering 'tonnes of family fun' during the school summer holiday with new activities on offer.
The Tank Museum, in Bovington, near Wool, is hosting live tank displays Monday to Thursday from 1pm to wow the crowds.
There will also be the chance to ride in a real vehicle while on sunny days, youngsters will have the opportunity to make the most of a new outdoor play area, featuring wooden versions of historic machines.
More than 300 tanks are housed at the Dorset museum, which is also a registered charity.
Visitors can choose between 10 exhibitions, including Tanks for the Memories and Tanks in Popular Culture exhibition, while there is also dressing up, games, model making, and hands-on activities on offer.
Visitor experience general manager at The Tank Museum, Rosanna Dean, said: “In the centenary Year of The Tank Museum, we continue to offer an unparalleled visitor experience by improving the facilities and offering new activities for the whole family."
