Sewage has been discharged at two spots on Portland.
Surfers Against Sewage is tracking real-time sewage discharge and pollution risks around the UK.
Following heavy rains, the group reports that sewage has been discharged in places across the south of England.
Today, (Wednesday, July 5) two areas of Portland have seen a sewage discharge in the last 48 hours.
Sewage was discharged at Chesil Cove at Chiswell and Portland Harbour South.
A statement from Surfers Against Sewage said: "Storm sewage has been discharged from a sewer overflow in this location within the past 48 hours.
"Portland Harbour South is the south end of Portland Harbour where scuba divers are active.
"There is a storm overflow there for which we receive alerts. Not to be confused with Castle Cove or Sandsfoot, both of which are at the northwest end of the harbour and are designated bathing waters."
A similar alert has been issued for Chesil Cove, which is very popular with scuba divers.
Sewage discharges can be tracked via an interactive map on the Surfers Against Sewage website.
