THREE candidates are to contest a vacant seat on Osmington Parish Council on June 29th.
Two have chosen not to make their home address known, as they are entitled to do by law; the third Joe Medrecki, who is standing as an Independent, lives in Main Street, Osmington.
The other two candidates, each of which have no description stated on the nomination papers, are said only to have an address in the Dorset Council area. They are Bern Kuflik and Christof Merkle.
Polling stations will be open on the day from 7am until 10pm.
Dorset Council is reminding voters that they will need to produce a photo ID to vote and can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate which needs to be applied for by 5pm on Wednesday June 21 if they are unable to produce a valid photo ID.
The deadline for proxy votes is the same day and time.
