- WESTHAM Youth Forum leader Ryan Hope has won an award for his community work from Nationwide, the prize consisted of £50 dining out vouchers.
Ryan was nominated for this award by Kate Wheller. Well done Ryan for all your hard work.
- THE Youth Forum will be meeting at the council offices on Thursday June 26, to discuss the Dorset Close community gardens. The Youth Forum hope to start work on the gardens in August.
- REGISTRATION for Active Westham is now taking place. Forms have been given to all schools, if you have not received one please contact Julie Hursthouse on 01305 838497.
Active Westham is open to any youngster from the area of Westham and the trips planned include RAF beach day, Marwell Zoo, Splashdown, Maize Maize, deep sea fishing, Poole Park and Life Boat, Moors Valley Country Park, Horse Riding and walks and sports.
There is a non refundable registration fee of £5 and is payable along with £6 for each trip.
There will also be various activities on Wednesday and Friday evenings from July 9 between 6pm to 8pm at Budmouth School.
This year from 7pm on Fridays adults are welcome to come along and join in with some activities. There will be a quiz on one of the Fridays and it is hoped there will be a barn dance on the last Friday.

- WESTHAM Cops community group are running a free coach to the Dorset Police blue light day on Sunday July 13 for anyone from the area of Westham. Children must be accompanied by adults.
Entrance to the event is also free and should be great fun for all the family with fabulous displays, live music, childrens activities and much more.
The coach will be leaving at the front of Conifers school in Radipole Lane at 10.30am and will leave the Police Headquarters at Winfrith at 3.30pm.
