A glossy French romantic comedy starring Audrey Tautou as a sexy, unscrupulous gold-digger with an insatiable taste for the high life is coming to the county town.

The Dorchester-Bayeux Society is screening Hors de Prix or Priceless (with subtitles) at Dorchester Corn Exchange on Wednesday, May 31 at 7.30pm.

When shy hotel employee Jean (Gad Elmaleh) encounters the beautiful Irene (Tautou), he doesn't let on that he's just a bartender.

Irene proceeds to clean him out by taking his credit card and buying a wardrobeful of designer clothes.

When she finally discovers his lowly status, she quickly hightails it for the French Riviera. The lovestruck Jean, however, decides to pursue her and ends up aping his beloved by becoming a gigolo. While advising him on this unlikely career, Irene finds herself slowly being drawn to the new Jean...

Hors de Prix is rated PG-13 for sexual material including nudity.
