Thunderstorms and torrential rain crashed down on parts of Dorset on Friday, leading to chaos and disruption on some of the county's roads.
Weymouth seemed to bear the brunt of the storm, and motorists were seen navigating difficult conditions on the town's roads after an extreme downpour this afternoon.

Newstead Road flooded and heavy traffic was reported on Westwey Road and Rodwell Road around North Quay.
Footage shows drivers cautiously trying to make their way through floodwater, which came after a sudden and heavy storm.

South Western Railway warned passengers to expect delays between Weymouth and Bournemouth due to the poor weather conditions.
