A man has had 15 guns removed by police after reports of illegal hunting in west Dorset.
Dorset Rural Crime Team, Dorset Police, and the Firearms Licensing Department said they worked together to revoke a man's firearms licence after reports of illegal hunting activity.
The alleged illegal hunting occurred on the evening of Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in rural West Dorset near the Somerset border.
After conducting enquiries, police seized his firearms certificate on Friday, May 12 and had 15 guns removed.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "The owner of the firearms is assisting officers with their enquiries and our investigation remains ongoing. No arrests have been made."
The investigation is still ongoing.
