A mental health charity in Dorset has launched a new website to make it easier for those struggling to access support.
Dorset Mind revealed the new site to help mark Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from today until Sunday.
The charity said that it wanted to create a 'clear path to urgent help' should people need it for themselves or someone else.
The purpose for the new website alongside rebranding the design was to remove barriers for people wanting to access support, Dorset Mind said.
The charity engaged their own service users, ambassadors and other people who have lived with experience of mental health problems to help inform the user journey.
As a result the new layout of the website provides clearer signposting to support for vulnerable people in the county.
The charity also merged its adult and young people websites into one to give people one clear platform to access information and support.
Other design features included integrated referral forms and application forms, an events/groups calendar and service videos.
Linda O’Sullivan, Dorset Mind’s CEO, said, “We’re delighted to unveil our website rebrand, enabling users with the tools to easily locate help and support.
"We hope this fresh design provides a positive and informative experience for young people and adults looking for information about mental health services in Dorset."
