The former mayor of Weymouth spent her last engagement showing off the town.
Cllr Ann Weaving held a Civic Day on Wednesday, May 10, her last engagement as mayor. It was an opportunity to showcase Weymouth and what a wonderful town it is.
Other dignitaries from neighbouring councils joined her and visited Greenhill Gardens among other sites.
Each year the outgoing mayor chooses an organisation to award the Ken Issacs Rose Bowl to for their impressive work in the community.
Cllr Weaving presented the bowl to the Friends of Greenhill Gardens for all the hard work they’ve been doing on the floral clock.
The party also had a ride on the trishaws and the land train, a popular tourist attraction in Weymouth.
