A man has appeared in court charged in connection with a serious assault at Upwey railway station.
Jesse Syxx, aged 25, and of Crofton Road, Yeovil appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 1 charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of a bladed article.
He has been remanded in custody until his next appearance at Bournemouth Crown Court on June 1.
Police were called to Upwey station at 10.40pm on Friday, April 28 following reports of a serious assault.
It was reported one person had been stabbed and another assaulted.
Dorset Police officers responded but the incident is now being led by British Transport Police (BTP).
Two victims were taken to hospital; one has since been released and one remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman were also both arrested on suspicion of GBH and released on police bail while enquiries continue.
