Train passengers were warned earlier today of delays and cancellations on the Weybridge and Basingstoke line due to an incident at Woking.
Emergency services were dealing with an incident which has caused delays of up to 40 minutes on South Western Railway.
It affected all lines and services through Woking including: between Weybridge and Basingstoke, between Weybridge and Guildford and between Weybridge and Ash Vale.
The lines are now re-opened following the incident. The disruption lasted until approximately 3pm, and service has returned to normal.
A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: "Following emergency services dealing with an incident in the Woking area, all lines through this station are now open. Services will still be subject to delay, alteration or cancellation while we return the service to normal.
"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey. "
